More Than a Church

A Welcoming Church at the Heart of The Dalles

Hi, my name is Pastor Aaron and I’m the Pastor for The Dalles Evangelical Church. It’s been very exciting to look back over my life and see how God has used every detail to bring me to the place of Family Ministry. I was born in a Jewish home,  followed Judaism religiously until I was 18. At 18, when I walked away from my Jewish roots, I had more questions than answers. For the next 17 years I wandered away from the Lord and had intense struggles. By the grace of God, He didn’t leave me to wander, He found me! It was then that I had what I like to refer to as my Proverbs 3:5 moment. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6) I submitted my life to Him and from there, He ignited a fire for Him in my heart and soul that is very much alive today!
